This webinar covers how to use winter term courses to improve Fall-to-Spring retention and includes academic administrators from Dallas Baptist, Schreiner, and Texas Wesleyan University and how they are using winter courses to:

  1. To boost grades or credit hours for athletes missing eligibility for the Spring

  2. For May grads to access additional courses to graduate on time (i.e. target seniors with more than 15 hours to graduate)

  3. For students struggling in the midterm to catch up or a replace a bad grade without sending them home with a plan (i.e. Fall to Spring retention)

  4. For international students to make progress, as some may stay near campus during Winter break

This webinar covers how to create a winter term with another school's courses, apply financial aid, and improve revenue and retention before year-end, highlighting specific ideas and successes from our member schools.   See the attached presentation and operational guide to set-up a winter term at your institution.
